Global View boasts an excellent location right across from the Niigata Station, making travel convenient. The hotel offers a variety of local food options nearby, including a highly recommended ramen shop just around the corner. Despite being an older establishment, the spacious room provided comfort, making it suitable for those on business trips. The breakfast selection was good, offering traditional Japanese cuisine to energize for the day ahead.
The corridors felt somewhat dark and less secure for solo travelers.

8/10
Man, the spot real convenient, right near the JR Station! Breakfast hit nice with that Japanese rice and pork chops, but those bathrooms? Kinda cramped, ya feel me? Overall, I ain’t mad at the stay. Just don’t expect too much space, that's all.

Great location by the station. Enjoyed the sauna, but the room was quite small.

The culinary scene nearby was a treasure trove! I feasted on fresh sushi at Tomizushi Niigata and slurped noodles at Sobaudon. The room was well-equipped, offering a LAN cable and a cozy fridge to keep my local snacks. Lastly, the Japanese breakfast was a nice touch, perfect for fueling my adventures.

this hotel was an absolute disaster. the staff treated me like a regular instead of the VIP I am. the key card fiasco was just embarrassing, waiting in front of my room for 15 mins. plus, the bathroom was elevated, which woudl ve been cute if I were a toddler. I almost considered giving a good review, but no.

Convenient location, small room surprise
The hotel's prime location right across from Niigata Station makes exploring the city effortless. From my window, I enjoyed the skyline view, especially at sunset!
My room felt quite cramped, especially the bathroom, which had an awkwardly high step that made nighttime trips a bit treacherous. More lighting in the corridors would help too.

I loved the spacious room with modern decor, and the public bath was such a nice way to unwind after a long day! Plus, the sauna really helped me relax and recharge. Only thing is the mattress was a bit firm for my taste, but it didn't ruin my awesome stay. 😊

Family with children Good
I was blown away by how grand this place was for the price I paid is only £34. The room had this massive double bed and a cozy little seating area with a round table like I'm some kind of king. Plus they had a common bath with these massage chairs that really hit the spot after my long day.
It wasn't exactly dirt cheap but still pretty reasonable.

Our stay at this hotel was enjoyable, especially with convenient access to shops and restaurants. With a clean and spacious Hollywood room, it was perfect for my wife, our three kids, and our newborn. The onsen was a relaxing treat post-exploration.
My kids wished for a larger area for playing indoors.

Comfortable Stay with a Great Location
Enjoyed the convenient location right across the train station. Exploring nearby ramen shops was a delight! The room provided a cozy retreat after bustling days. Just a tip, request a room facing away from the renovation noise for a quieter experience.

Free Wi-Fi was great, but dark corridors felt unsafe at night.
